WHAT IS TEACH KC?
The Teach KC Collaborative is a regional partnership convened by BLAQUE Kansas City to strengthen the educator pipeline across the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our goal is simple but ambitious: ensure every student has access to a high-quality educator while creating pathways for more local talent to enter, remain, and thrive in the teaching profession.
Teach KC is focused on addressing persistent workforce challenges facing schools, including teacher shortages, retention challenges, certification barriers, and the need to cultivate talent that reflects the diversity and strengths of our community.

Our vision is to create a seamless, coordinated educator workforce ecosystem that recruits, prepares, places, supports, and retains excellent teachers across district and charter schools throughout the Kansas City region.
